Dr Jean O'Donoghue
Research Fellow
Jean O’Donoghue is a Research Fellow at the Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre, University of Edinburgh. Previously she has worked as a research fellow at the MRC Human Genetics Unit and at the National e-Science Centre (NeSC), University of Edinburgh. She holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Edinburgh. Prior to this, she obtained a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from University College Cork, Ireland.
While at NeSC, as part of DGEMap, her role was to liaise with the informatics and biology teams to produce a report on the long-term curation of DGEMap including ethical and confidentiality issues.
